Parliament of Victoria – Anthony Cianflone MP

Anthony is State Labor Member for Pascoe Vale, Coburg and parts of Brunswick West in the Victorian Legislative Assembly.

Proudly born and bred in the Pascoe Vale Electorate, Anthony is the son of Italian migrant parents. Growing up in Coburg, he attended local public school at Coburg West Primary, played for local sporting clubs including Brunswick Juventus, and worked in hospitality. It was here that Anthony learned the values of hard work, resilience and the fair go. Now living in Pascoe Vale with his wife raising their young family, Anthony is working to help build a better and fairer community to live, learn, work, raise a family and retire in.

By striving to bring people together through real action on jobs, kinders, schools, transport, environment, social-justice and cost-of-living outcomes, Anthony remains committed to working and delivering on the things that matter to local people as a member of a Victorian Labor Government.

As a former 'Citizen of the Year' with a long record of successfully advocating for locals, including through the establishment of the oxYgen Youth Hub in Coburg and as Chair of the Robinson Reserve Neighbourhood House, Anthony continues to be driven by the spirit and can-do attitude of our diverse and vibrant community.

Through his subsequent two-decades of experiences working across federal, state and local governments, as well as across the private, non-government and community sectors, Anthony’s first-hand insights into the role of government decision-making to improve people’s lives by fostering aspiration while leaving no-one behind, continues to help guide his advocacy to influence and secure outcomes on behalf of the local community and constituents.

As a lifelong local, Anthony’s here to represent, advocate and serve the people of Pascoe Vale, Coburg and Brunswick West in the Victorian Parliament.
